Nur Fazilah Aminuddin
HR Executive, Petaling Jaya
"I had no background in coding at all. The foundations course was slow enough in the first two weeks that I could actually follow it, then it picked up nicely. By week five I had written a working Python script for something I actually needed at work. That was not something I expected to be able to say."

Chan Wei Loon
Financial Analyst, Kuala Lumpur
"The Applied ML course was well structured. I had done some Python before so the first two weeks were revision, but from week three onwards it was genuinely new territory. The written feedback on my assignments was the most useful part — it told me specifically what I was doing wrong rather than just giving me a score."
Applied Machine Learning · May 2025
Shalini Rajendran
Software Developer, Shah Alam
"I took the deployment course after completing the first two. The capstone project took more time than I had budgeted — I think about fifteen hours in the last two weeks — but the result was an actual deployed application I could show people. The mentor review session at the end was thorough and honest about where it could be improved."

Muhammad Haziq Rosli
Marketing Manager, Cyberjaya
"I will be honest — weeks four and five were difficult. I fell behind and nearly quit. The teaching assistant reached out when she noticed I had not submitted, and we had a short call that helped me get back on track. That kind of attention from a small school is something you do not expect. I finished and I am glad I did."
AI & Python Foundations · April 2025
Tan Kah Leng
Operations Lead, George Town, Penang
"The live sessions were at 8pm which worked well for me. I was able to attend from home after dinner. The instructor explained things clearly and was patient with questions. The course did not oversell what I would be able to do — the description of the pace and workload was accurate to my experience."
Applied Machine Learning · May 2025
Aisyah Abdul Halim
Teacher, Kota Bharu, Kelantan
"I was worried the course would be too fast for someone without a technical background. It was not. The recorded lessons are short enough to pause and rewatch, which I did regularly. The community forum was also active — when I asked a question I usually had an answer from someone within a few hours."

Learner Stories in More Detail
Three accounts of what brought people to the courses and what happened while they worked through them.
Prakash Raman
Accountant turned Data Analyst · All Three Courses
The Situation
Prakash had worked in accounting for eight years and wanted to move into a more data-focused role without returning to university. He had tried several online platforms but found the lack of feedback made it hard to know if he was doing things correctly.
During the Courses
He completed all three courses over fourteen months, working around a full-time job. The foundations course was the hardest because Python was entirely new. The applied ML course went faster because the programming felt more familiar. The deployment course required the most independent problem-solving.
After Completing
Prakash now works as a data analyst at a KL logistics firm, using Python daily. His capstone project — a delivery time prediction tool — was something he showed during interviews. He says the specific assignment feedback was what made the difference between understanding and guessing.
"I finished the third course in May and started a new role in July. The work is challenging and there is still a lot I do not know, but the foundation is solid enough that I can build on it myself."
Lee Yee Shan
Engineering Student · AI & Python Foundations
The Situation
Yee Shan was finishing a mechanical engineering degree and wanted to understand how AI fitted into manufacturing and industrial applications. Her university covered theory but nothing practical. She had about six hours per week available between classes.
During the Course
The eight-week structure fitted around her schedule. She found the exercises clear and the explanations of machine learning concepts more practical than what she had read in textbooks. She submitted all assignments on time and found the forum useful for checking her understanding.
After Completing
She has enrolled in the Applied ML course and is planning a final year project that applies predictive maintenance techniques to sensor data. The foundations course gave her enough Python confidence to begin reading more advanced materials independently.
"It was the right pace for where I was. I did not feel rushed and I did not feel bored. The exercises were just difficult enough to be worth doing."
Zulaikha Ahmad Tarmizi
Product Manager · Applied ML + Deploying AI Apps
The Situation
Zulaikha managed a product team building software that used AI features, but she felt she could not evaluate the technical claims made by her developers. She had basic Python from a short workshop two years earlier and wanted something that would take her further without starting from zero.
During the Courses
She joined Applied ML directly, skipping foundations. The first three weeks were manageable; the model evaluation section in week five was the steepest part of the curve. The deployment course pushed her further into territory she had only seen from a product perspective. She found the capstone the most valuable and most demanding part.
After Completing
She says she is now able to ask better questions in technical reviews and understand the constraints her team is working with. She has not moved into a development role but feels more confident making product decisions that involve AI components.
"I did not expect to enjoy the coding. By the third course I was looking forward to the build sessions. That was a surprise."

How ratings are collected
Every learner who completes the course receives a short survey in the week following their final submission. Participation is voluntary and responses are anonymous. The rating above reflects the average score from question: "How satisfied are you with the course overall?"
